LENGGANG NYAI DANCE
​Lenggang Nyai is one of the artistical dances from Betawi (Jakarta, capitial ciy of Indonesia). This dance expresses both the gracefulness and vivaciousness of the Betawi woman.
This dance has elements from the distinct Chinese influences. That is why the dancers wear bright orange or green dresses and Chinese crowns. The girls sway their body, hands, and feet with graceful and brisk movements.
GENJRING DANCE

Genjring dance is a contomporer traditional dance, which is a blend of tradition from Bali, Betawi and West Java. It is a very energetic dance yet a supple movement, describing some cheerful and passionate women.
The dancers wear kebaya, a traditional blouse-dress combination that originates from Indonesia and is worn by women in Indonesia. These dresses are the combination of the three different cultures, combined with jasmine headbands. The headbands well known in Indonesia worn as women's accessories.


MERAK DANCE

Merak dance is a traditional folk dance originating from Pasundan land, West Java. Tari Merak symbolises the beauty of nature and its creatures and intents to draw our attention to it. Merak dance has delicate hand movements and it follows by traditional ‘Gamelan’ music, that becomes the main characteristic of this dance.
From its name, it clearly describes the dance that symbolize the elegant of peacock movements. Merak dance can be performed solo or in group. The dancers of this beautiful dance wear scarf that perform the tail of the peacock with multicolor scenic tone. Moreover, the dancers also wear the crown a la peacock head crown.
